The interface NORMA DALI is a DALI slave with 2 outputs. It may be configured in both single channel mode and 2 independent channel mode. In single-channel mode the two channels work in single channel mode, and the control unit is associated with one DAL I address. In the 2 independent channels mode, each channel is associated with a DALI address, and the two outputs operate independently. To select the 2 channel mode it must connect the terminal MODO of the input to GND (terminals 2 and 5). Some specific controls of the “6 DALI” type slaves are implemented, including the selection of the dimming curve (linear or logarithmic). The interface is configured at the factory with linear dimming curve which is best suited for the PWM type output (for LED applications). When turning on, the load applied to the 2 channels is checked, if the load exceeds the maximum allowed, the red led (right to the 10-pin connector) flashes quickly and the interface is blocked, and if the applied load is at the permitted level, the red LED remains off.
Module to be installed inside the Norma. The Norma has only one 1-10V entrance and thus the 2 channels can be dimed simultaneously. With the 1-10 module the 2 channels can be controlled separately.
Module to be installed inside the Norma. The Norma without this module has no data connection while with DMX module it turns into master/slave after configuration.
The interface NORMA PUSH may function in 4 different modes: 2 channel white mode, single channel mode, dynamic white mode, single channel 1-10V mode. In single-channel mode with any configuration, the maximum power is 480W to 48V and 320W to 24V. When turning on, the load applied to the 2 channels is checked, if the load exceeds the maximum allowed, the red led (right to the 10-pin connector) flashes quickly and the interface is blocked, and if the applied load is at the permitted level, the red LED remains turned off. The commands may come from keys and/or remote control indifferently (for the IR remote control, order the kit code ST0946 which includes the remote control and IR receiver). The interface Norma Push accepts at Terminal 1-10, signals which are compatible with levels of type 1-10V (0-10V), home automation interfaces (0-10V) or 100kΩ potentiometer. By inserting the appropriate expansion cards, it is possible to implement a second 1-10V channel (Module 1-10 Plus, Code ST0954). Using appropriate settings this interface also functions in Flicker Free mode, it is necessary with the use of channels with magnetic holder, to eliminate possible hums in the system.
Interface for professional use to control strip brightness. A highly versatile instrument, can operate from 12 Vdc to 48 Vdc and is controlled by button, 0-10 Vdc analogue input, 50 kΩ potentiometer or PWM signal. The latter input type allows the device to be also used as a signal amplifier. Dedicated electronics mean long input signal cables can be used without affecting correct product operation. Power supply 12-24-48 Vdc, max power with automatic limiting 96-140-192 W.
Control for professional use, manages monochrome LED strips with 12 to 48 Vdc power supply. Can be managed by button or IR remote control (ordered separately). The multifunction inputs (push, IR) and power and DMX outputs the make the control highly versatile, allowing it to be used in the majority of projects. The control can manage high power systems using the twinned Rigoletto SLAVE devices, driving several modules via the DMX output. 12-24-48 Vdc power supply, max power (auto-limiting) 108-216 W, distributed as needed via the 3 output profiles.
